Hortifair, Amsterdam, October 2007

Bluelab attended the Hortifair in Amsterdam for the first time. It gave Bluelab a great opportunity to meet with existing customers and to meet many new ones; much like an international office for a week! The complete Bluelab product range was featured for 2007 with overwhelming interest. It was most unfortunate that the loss of our great "All Blacks" in the Rugby World Cup came up in conversation so much, but all visitors to our stand left with an "All Black" Rugby stress-ball and in return we received many commiserative 'pats on the back'.

Bluelab visited the Hortifair to meet with potential commercial distributors in the field of Horticulture, particularliy those specialising in greenhouse crop production and hydroponic systems. Bluelab are seeking Commercial Distribution in Canada, Israel, Turkey and South America. It was a great opportunity to meet up with Anthony to discuss new and existing products, carry out further product training and discuss future needs for his market and customers.

Yes, we know how to have fun down under! Bluelab take a mystery trip each year to celebrate Christmas and also to acknowledge the hard work put in for the year that was! It is a great time for everyone to kick back, let their hair down and have some fun in the sun! This year we were taken to Rotorua where we were split into teams and sent out to play a 9 hole round of golf, skeet shooting and archery. Afterwards, we relaxed on a gondala and scared all the tourists with our strange eye glasses! We sat atop a mountain and ate lunch. Some even braved the Luge and some the Giant swing!
